Legends & Awards
The rich history of the Orange County Football Officials Association (OCFOA) has seen its fair share of legends come through our ranks. Many have gone on to enjoy long and fruitful careers in college and professional football officiating.

The OCFOA “Speed” Castillo Golf Tournament is an annual charity event and fundraiser that honors E.M. “Speed” Castillo’s massive legac
Originally established as OCFOA’s annual fundraiser, it was renamed the Inaugural Speed Castillo Golf Tournament in June 2024 following his passing.

This award goes to individuals that have given a tremendous amount of service back to the Orange county Football Officials Association members and the association itself.

Chad Wilson Memorial Scholarship
Established after his passing in 2020, the Chad Wilson Memorial Scholarship is awarded to OCFOA members who strive to improve and sharpen their officiating skills.

Lifetime Achievement Award
This honor is bestowed upon those OCFOA members who have dedicated numerous years of service to the association and awarded lifetime membership.
