About OCFOA
The Orange County Football Officials Association (OCFOA) is the primary organization that provides and trains certified referees and officials for high school tackle and flag football games across Orange County, California.
As a regional member unit of the California Football Officials Association (CFOA), OCFOA handles officiating for tackle and flag football games under the CIF Southern Section (CIF-SS).
The Orange County Football Officials Association takes pride in being a cohesive group of highly trained, motivated officials that promotes fair play and ensures player safety for all levels of high school football in Orange County, California.
The mission of the OCFOA is to provide the highest level of officiating for all levels of high school football in Orange County as arbiters of fair play who encourage integrity and sportsmanship by all game participants.
Alongside 11-man tackle football, the OCFOA provides comprehensive training and certified officials for the rapidly growing sport of CIF-sanctioned girls flag football. Many OCFOA members choose to officiate both tackle and flag football during fall high school football season.
